- We cannot let him get on that ship.
- It’s a little late, Sturdivant. Besides, it’ll be better with him and his whinging about Eli and Gerry gone.
- Why too late?
- He left this morning. Ship sails at 1600 hours from the Port of LA. He’ll be aboard by now.
- And regretting it.
- How would you know? Maybe this is just what he needs.
- After our last task, I worked cruises. Shared berths and bathrooms with strangers and served drunken idiots escaping their families. But his comfort doesn’t matter - we need him here. We need to find out what he knows.
