- Where’d you get pot?
- Three women were on the cruise to celebrate selling their business for a big payout, and they wanted more wine. They’d been through Champagne and Burgundy and asked to close strong.
- What did you suggest?
- Sauterne, PX, cigars.
- Cigars?
- One tipped me $100 and a rumpled bag with four cartons inside, five joints in each. Receipt was in the bag, with her name and number. A hundred and fifty bucks of pot!
- She wasn’t giving you weed.
- What do you mean?
- She was giving you her number.
- Why would she do that?
- Jesus, Bailey, you dope.
