Day 95: Eli and Anne
"We don't matter, at all, Eli." Did Anne really mean it? Today's 100-word story.
95: Eli and Anne
- We don’t matter, at all, Eli. Postino matters. What he does? Where he does it? That matters.
- No, you - you - are all that matters, to me. Postino? There are ten more, a hundred more, lining up behind him.
- He can change the course of history.
- He doesn’t give a shit about the course of history. He wants to show whoever is watching that he is the smartest SOB - FDP - the world has seen. But he isn’t. He is one of a hundred.
- Eli, our job is to save him, and the hundreds. Not us. We don’t matter, to the world.
